Main Bath Reno

We are VERY close to having renovated our entire house!  We had a free weekend in May and we decided to just do a quick little reno in the main bathroom.  This was by far our simplest room reno yet, but it made a HUGE difference!  Matt is get really really good at making my pinterest dreams come alive!

This was a tricky room as it has some strange angles in it that we had to work with.  Our budget was also quite small for this room so we really had to get creative!

Here are the BEFORE & AFTER pictures...

Our Completed To Do List:
- remove mirror wall, light fixture, sink & counter top
- paint walls
- install baseborads and casing
- install wood paneling
- paint vanity and install knobs
- make custom counter top
- instal new sink & faucet
- new light
- new mirror
- new longer shower curtain
- make and install floating shelves
- decorate!

our new shower curtain is actually 2 curtain panels - it works great and I really like the look of a longer curtain (84" vs. the normal 72") - makes the room look bigger

we picked a very light mint color to brighten up the space!

Matt's handy work - he made the counter top from scratch, installed the panelling, framed the mirror in & made the floating shelves!

Sully's little potty stool that Matt made a few months ago even matches the room nicely!
We are very happy with our country, cottage styled bathroom!
