Spa Night - Spring 2014

The spa night tradition continues!  We had three mama's that needed to be pampered - one gave birth in February to a BEAUTIFUL, well behaved baby girl, another is about to be a first time mama & the third becoming a mama of two any day now.

we had quite a good little spread going for our night of pampering

our two GORGEOUS preggos

their CUTE bumps

the crew - such fantastic ladies!
this is crazy - when I first started working with these ladies there would have been only 3 kids from all of us and they were all from one pretty lady in this picture...now there are 12 kids (and 2 fetus') represented in this picture :)

Grams & Gramps

Matt's parents were out for almost a week over Easter - it was so great to have them visit.

Sully enjoyed some quality time with his Grams and Gramps!

We got tons of work done while they were out - they are SO great at helping us with our many projects - more pictures to come of their hard work!

We went out to eat one night to a new BBQ place in town.

Sully got some Easter treats from his grandparents including this little chair that is just his size.  He has already spent a lot of time "reading" his books and relaxing on it - it's the cutest thing!

Thanks for coming to visit Grams & Gramps and for ALL of your help with our many projects!!!

Bridal Falls Hike

The weather was not amazing while Matt's parents were here, but we still managed to find time to do a quick trip out to Bridal Falls.  It is a beautiful little hike, the trees and plants are SO green this time of the year and the waterfall was mighty with the recent snow melt and rain.

Easter 2014

We were blessed to share our Easter celebration with Sully's Grams and Gramps!  What a very special holiday - we serve a living God - Christ the Lord is Risen!!!

Here are some pictures from our day...

our cute little Easter bunny waiting for his breakfast

the crew headed off to church (I was in between nights and so was headed off to bed at this point)

Sully's first Easter egg hunt

he got really into it once he realized that there were treats in the eggs

putting the empty eggs in the bucket

love his face on the right - he was excited with every egg

those cheeks - soooo kissable!

next he "opened" his Easter basket from his Grams and Gramps

and then of course had to play with his new toys

Hope you all had a blessed Easter - celebrating the sacrifice that was made for us!

Dyeing Eggs

Growing up we would dye eggs every year at Easter time.  We wanted to pass this tradition on to Sully - we didn't know how much he would get out of it being so young, but he totally enjoyed himself.  Food coloring, crayons and the magic of a white egg morphing into a colored egg is pretty exciting to a one and a half year old.

Here are some pictures of our experience...
