Nana came out to hang out with Sully while we were away in Arizona - we are so thankful to her for giving up her time so that we could have a trip away - Sully LOVES his Nana soooo much!

Phoniex 30th Birthday Trip

Matt and I spent a glorious week away in Arizona!   Sully stayed at home in Abbotsford with his Nana - they had a GREAT time - and we were so thankful to have some time away just the two of us :)  

We stayed at a friend's place just outside Phoniex - it was a special blessing!  It was a beautiful house with a lovely backyard - perfect for an R & R filled vacation.

I did a lot of reading in the backyard - Matt did a lot of work on his masters!

It pays to have a tall husband - we rented the smallest, cheapest car we could get - when we got to the rental car place the lady took one look at Matt and said "you need a bigger car" - upgraded for free - thankful for my long legged husband!

We spent one day on the road - visiting Sedona & the Grand Canyon.

We loved the Red Rock of Sedona - worth the drive for sure!!!

We visited a church that is built right into the rock.

Beautiful day with beautiful sights to be seen!

Next it was off to the Grand Canyon

While we were in Arizona I turned the big 3-0 - we went out to celebrate!

My restaurant of choice was the Cheesecake Factory - it was YUMMY!!!

My birthday drink - made special for my pregnant self :)

We came home from the restaurant and spent some time outside by the fire enjoying our last night in paradise!

We had such a great time together - resting and relaxing - spending quality time together with my best friend!  It was a great start to my 30's!

Our Annual Pumpkin Pickin

We live in such a great area of Canada.  I have really enjoyed the fall season living in Abbotsford and all of the fun "fall" centered farms there are to visit.  This year we visited a new farm to pick out our pumpkin - Willow View Farm!

They had a ton of GIANT pumpkins - well over a 100 lbs - we tried to pick one up :)
