Rider Pride

We were able to attend the BC Lions vs. Sask. Roughriders game today in Vancouver. We had great weather for the afternoon game!

Dad is out visiting for the weekend. We had already bought our tickets for the game well before we knew he was coming. So he ended up sitting two sections over from us - in better seats!

They were doing a salute to veterns pre-game and at half time.

Pumpkin Patch

On Sunday after church, we headed out to a local pumpkin patch to pick prize pumpkins to be carved.

Menno was dressed appropriately for the occasion.

26th Birthday!

Friday was my birthday and I had a wonderful day! My day started off with one of my favorite things...breakfast in bed!

Next came a few presents...I feel like I'm getting old...when your younger you don't get excited about new Tupperware!

In the evening Matt took me down to Yaletown to a place called Capones. It was a cute little restaurant that had live jazz music!

After supper we walked around downtown. There is so much to see and experience down there. The weather out here has been beautiful - crisp and clear - made for a wonderful evening.

Isn't she getting so big?! She has little teeth now and is crawling and is still the cutest baby - we miss her, but pictures and updates definately help!

I had a GREAT birthday and felt very loved and blessed. I'm excited to see what my 26th year will bring!

Good friends of our welcomed their first son into the world on Sunday! He came a bit early and we could not be more excited for his arrival!

Thanksgiving Meal

We had our Thanksgiving Meal last Thursday (I had to work all weekend and the boys had a volleyball tournament). We pigged out:)

We concluded our meal with a list of things we were grateful for...the list could go on and on...there is SO MUCH to be thankful for - may we live as people with thankful spirits!
