Pumpkin Carving

Last weekend we had the Wall family over for supper and an evening filled with pumpkin guts and knives:)

(I apologize for the blurry photos - they were with the iphone not the SLR!)

Tony and Ev getting right down to it - Tony was kind enough to dig through the pumpkin goop to get us some much needed seeds to roast!

so excited about our pumpkins!

hard at work

Matt scrapped our pumpkin so clean you could have eaten out of it!

Date Night

Matt was given a special gift card to the Keg when he retired from landscaping this past summer - we decided to part take of the treat during this past weeks date night!

On our way to the restaurant - party of three:)

We decided on the way home that we had a little more room left in our filled tummies to stop for a piece of cheesecake at our favorite dessert place!
It was a night full of eating and oh so much fun!

Intentional Moments

Well my intentional moments as a parent have already started!  Twice a week I have 30-45 minutes to just hang out with Baby K and focus - very intentionally!  I am having bi-weekly Non-Stress Tests with little Baby K to monitor him/her - below is a picture of us from last weeks fun!

The Big 2-8!

I turned 28 a couple of weeks ago - to celebrate Matt took me to a lovely restaurant in Stanley Park called the Tea House (dont' be fooled by the name - it's a real deal restaurant - not a tea house!)  It was a lovely night out - Stanley Park is BEAUTIFUL this time of year with the leaves starting to change on the big old trees that are there!

Pre-supper stroll - it was raining but warm!

The building that the restaurant is in was built for the second world war - it was converted into a restaurant in 1978 - it is full of big windows located right on the water!

Fall Decor

We finally had a fall feeling kind of day today and so I thought I would post some pictures of our fall decor at home...
