UPDATE...Rumpus Room Built Ins

Here is our most recent picture of our built ins - the fireplace is tiled, the TV hanging and the bookshelves are being filled. We just need cupboard doors and a little more decor and we are done. We are loving our new space and are definitely spending more time in our basement!

Props to my husband - he is a work horse and an artist - I love what he has done with the place!

oh Good Morning!

we were privileged to witness these two get engaged at Columbia's gym - it was beautiful!

we had supper at our friends house - Lily and Sully had so much fun playing together - the picture on the left is them at "church" with their baby's :)

a lovely lady that I work with made this beautiful quilt for Branson - it is getting could use already!

Baby Arya's Shower

Branson has crashed two baby showers already in his short little life :) He has been very well behaved at both events! This past week we was priviledged to attend a baby shower to celebrate Chelsey and her sweet baby Arya!

Sir Branson - 1 Month

Sir Branson is officially 1 month old today! He is weighing in at 11lbs and is 21.5 inches in length - we think he might be a football player someday! He loves to eat and does so every 3-4 hours around the clock. He loves snuggles and hates being gassy! He has rolled over from his front to his back and just recently started "talking" which we think is the cutest thing. He has made our transition from a family of 3 to 4 very easy - he is a pretty chill little man (unless of course he's hungry!) - we love you little B!

Rumpus Room Built Ins

Well we haven't done any big renos for awhile...so why not start another room...three weeks after we have a baby - yes we are crazy :)

Our room of choice...the rumpus room in the basement. Here it is "before" (well not really before - we have already patched the walls in these photos but you get the point)

Our basement is quite cool and so we had wanted to install a fireplace to warm the place up. Around the fireplace I wanted built in bookshelves with cupboards on the bottom to hide toys. I told Matt about my dreams for the room and he did a little sketch for me :)
