Dodge Journey

We got a NEW vehicle (well it's not new, but it's new to us)!!!  We love it!  It's a 2011 Dodge Journey - capable of seating 7 people or 5 with loads of storage space!  It also has some other fun features that came as an extra bonus for us!

Some of you are wondering...why the new vehicle - you had a cute Jeep Compass that was in great shape...and you are so very right!  We loved our Jeep and it was in great shape, however, if we ever wanted more than one child (and I'm pretty sure this will happen at some point) we would have outgrown our Jeep and to get any sort of trade in value on our Jeep we had to trade now.  So after much research we have found a vehicle that we really like that we can grow into for years to come:)

Sleepover!

The weather has been lovely out here in Abby and we shouldn't complain, but on Friday night after 2 days of +35 degree weather and living in a west facing apartment our place felt like a hot box!   We contemplated sleeping outside on our porch, but didn't want to wake up with the sun - so we did the next best thing - sleepover in the living room!  We moved our mattress, left the patio door open, had two fans going and we were able to sleep:)  Ahhh summertime!

Saskatchewan Travels

We were able to spend time with the Kaminski side of the family during the middle of our holiday home.  We were able to see Papa (sorry no pics for some reason), Grandma and travel up to Saskatoon with Mom & Dad K to see Dan and Hailey's new home!

Dan & Hailey's new HOME!!!!!  It is soooo cute!  So perfect for them - we are so excited and look forward to many more times together there!  Thanks so much for having us:)

Before we left Saskatoon Dan & Hailey showed us a great little yogurt bar they have...it was amazing - if you are ever in Saskatoon check out PURE....mmmm sooo good!

We had a couple of  great days in Lloyd with mom and dad Kaminski...sorry no pictures of our time - I guess we were too busy getting our relax on!

Summertime in the Dids

We started and ended our two week summer vacation in Didsbury with Mom & Dad Morgan.  We always enjoy our time in the Dids - we are able to relax and be well fed!!!  And of course always wonderful to see mom and dad!

Oregon

Becca and I found time to have some fun when we were not working at the big sunroom redo...

Sunroom Makeover

While I was down in Oregon Becca and I did a makeover on her sunroom...below are some before and after photos:)
