Theatre Under the Stars

Last Thursday, Matt, Trish and I made our way out to Stanley Park to attend Theatre Under the Stars showing the broadway version of 'The Titanic.'  The show was very well done and the night was beautiful!

Ultrasound

A couple of weeks ago Matt and I went for the baby's routine ultrasound.  The tech was getting frustrated with our little son or daughter - they were moving around like crazy making it hard to get the right measurements:)

Canada's Newest Athletic Director!!!

While we were in Arizona Matt received a confirmation e-mail stating that he was chosen to be CBC's new Athletic Director!!!!  We were very sad to see Rocky (his former boss) move on, but at the same time are excited about his new possibilities that await him at his new job!  And we are very excited about Matt's new opportunity to be a full fledge Athletic Director for the school!  Matt already has so many ideas and such a vision for the program - I am pumped to get to witness first hand my husband in this new role - somewhat of a dream job for him!

We are feeling very blessed - our God never ceases to amaze us with the endless opportunities He gives - may we be faithful to Him in this new endeavor!

Arizona

On June 30th we headed down to Arizona to celebrate the wedding of Matt's cousin, Nicole, to her new husband Rich.  We decided that since we were already down there we would make a trip of it.  We had a beautiful, HOT week down south enjoying family, food and fellowship.

One very hot afternoon Uncle Gord set up a mister for us - it was glorious!  We all just sat around the hose and enjoyed!

A little evening bike ride (we didn't go too far - we left that up to the Uncles - it was still VERY hot out!)

It was a great trip and we will surely be back someday - we are so thankful for to our very hospitable Auntie and Uncle for sharing their home with us!
