Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day weekend started with a Mother's Day Tea at Sully's preschool.  It was the cutest thing!

Singing songs prepared for us!

Listening to instructions about how to give mom's a pedicure.

Back massages and pedicures for all the mamas!

and our gifts...

he was pretty bang on!

he was a pretty pumped little man!

Mother's Day morning breakfast delivery!

it took a village :)

breakfast in bed (one of my favorite things!)

my card :)

pre-church picture - crazy to think that next year this pic will have three littles on the outside!

Sully's Sunday school class was in charge of the special music at church (he's the fourth little head from the left in the second row)

and then we shared "Muffins with Mom" together in their Sunday School classes

their Sunday school craft!

So blessed to be the mama to these boys (and forever thankful for this man that I get to share the journey with)!

Bedroom Reno

After 4 years of living in our house our master bedroom is complete!  For some reason this room went on the back burner when it came to rooms to reno, it's seemingly the room least seen by others, while at the same time a room we are in multiple times a day.  So needless to say it's a treat to have it complete!

This is a "before" picture - like when we were touring the home to see if we wanted to buy it - the room was DARK purple and had glow in the dark stars all over the ceiling.

About a year after moving in we painted the walls a dark grey and added some decorative moulding behind the bed

and this is how the room stayed for three years.

Our completed to do list...
-new casings and baseboards
- add decorative moldings
- paint walls
- build shelves
- decorate!

and here is our "after" pics...

the view from the door

our wonderful new king size bed (it's a game changer!)

the view from the far left corner (that door is the ensuite)

our BEAUTIFUL hand painted canvas by the talented Paper Heart Calligraphy - this little quote is based of the verse in Daniel 3 when Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego say they know that God can deliver them from this firey furnace, but even if He doesn't, He is still good!  Such a good reminder for us to see daily.  Even if God doesn't do want we want or think He should do, HE IS STILL GOOD!

Matt made these beautiful, rustic looking, shelves for me

Thankful to have this space finished...it's a simple and sweet little haven for us!

April Phone Dump

Here's a random look into our April...

April 1st - opening their "book of the month" - it's an exciting time in our house!

Matt and I split and conquer with the boys this day - getting errands done with only one kid is always easier - Sully got to come grocery shopping - B got to ride a quad - seems fair ;)

the van is proving itself VERY useful!  here is is full of sandbox supplies!

April date night started with coffees and paint color picking (followed by a movie!)

Matt's school year is winding down for the year - this was at their end of the year brunch
