Sully had his 6 month immunizations - he was wonderfully snugly all day after them!

Run for Water

Abbotsford hosted it's 6th annual Run for Water this past Sunday - our family participated in it - Matt ran the 10K and Sully I and ran the 5K.  It was a rainy race day but there was still such a great atmosphere in the air - people coming together to support a good cause - raising money to put wells in Ethiopia to give people clean water for a lifetime!

5 year Anniversary

May 24th, 2013 - Matt and I had been married for 5 years!  The Lord has blessed us greatly in our marriage - it was fun to remanence about our 5 years of marriage together - we have done and experienced so much and we look forward to the next 50 together :)

A good friend of ours watch Sully for a couple of hours so we could go out for dinner just the two of us - what a treat!!!

after dinner we came home - I had to feed Sully before he went to bed - he is stubborn and is still refusing to take a bottle!  then we watched our wedding video - as is tradition every anniversary and looked through out wedding album - so many memories....

and of course gotta try this bad boy on every year - still fits like a glove (a really tight glove!)

May Long Weekend - STAYCATION!

We had planned for our May Long Weekend to be our family getaway weekend - we were going to get away just the three of us and have some fun.  Then we bought a house and all of a sudden when we think about spending $100 on a hotel it means that we won't be able to buy another can of paint or baseboards for another room...soooo we opted for a little family fun STAYCATION - and it was a good one!

Friday night started with a little bit of exploring our new neighborhood and we came across an amazing park with a fun kids area and beautiful walking trails!

Saturday was pool day!  and your probably saying to yourself - oh man - how busy was your local pool on Saturday of the May long weekend - and we say to that...why go to the pool when you have a jacuzzi tub in the basement?!

Sunday night we got our pretty clothes on and went out to Earls

Monday was the only nice day weather wise so we packed up and headed to White Rock with Trish

you have to stop for ice cream whenever you are in White Rock - it's a bit of an unspoken rule

What a great STAYCATION - love our little family and the fun times we have together - what fun to experience new things with Sully!  And really we will take a couple of STAYCATIONS for the amount we are enjoying our new home - we also managed to fit in some renos last weekend between our other activities - pictures to come at some point!

Cooking with the K's - Reese Peanut Butter Bars

Ohhh man - these little guys were soooo good and yet so bad for us all at the same time!  Turns out I had pinned these bars three different times - that's how excited I was about them and the other night Matt was having a craving and so he made them up!  They literally take 5 min to make 15 min to set and then they are eating ready!

Trishy's Birthday!

Tricia had her birthday last week and Sully and I were able to spend some of her day with her!  I have probably celebrated close to 20 birthday's with Trish and they are always a good time!  When we were little there was always sidewalk chalk and ice cream cake...as we age there is still good fun and food to be had!

then we picked up Cheesecake and we were going to have a little cake picnic in the park but the sky decided to open up and rain so we came back home...Sully was just about partied out at this point

 but then we lit the birthday candle and fun was had again

Happy 29th Trishy - know that we love you and were blessed to share some of your big day with you! Here's to great things in your 29th year!!!

Play Date Fun

We had friends over on Wednesday for a little play date fun and oh man it is fun - so cool to watch how fast kids grow when they are in the infant/toddler stage of life!  

Such cute kids and always fun to hang out with their mama's!
