Lloydminster Christmas

This year was our Lloydminster Christmas year - we left a snowy Abbotsford on the 20th and after hours of delays and travel finally rolled into Lloyd at 2:30am on the 21st.  Sully was such an awesome travellor for which we are sooooo thankful!

We had a wonderful time in Lloyd - we did a lot of relaxing and hanging out with family - it was such a treat!

there is a new cat that has been recently added to our Kaminski family - Sully spent a lot of his time watching, talking & "playing" with Gracie

whisker rubs from Uncle Dan

we also did a LOT of eating :)  Sully enjoyed his first taste of ribs - right off the bone

Great Papa also came to visit over Christmas - what a blessing this was to us - he is a very wonderful man and we are so happy that Sully is able to know him

Sully was also able to experience his first taste of snow...literally:)

Sul's Grams making a snow angel

Sully wasn't too sure what was going on :)

there was also a fair amount of game playing that took place

a few last minute preparations for the big day - I love this picture - how many people does it take to wrap a gift - 2 brothers, a baby & a cat!

and of course a lot of this happened...bliss!!!

this year in Lloyd Southridge had a Christmas Eve Eve service held on the 23rd - here's our little family before the service

Matt likes to call this a tradition - this was only our 2nd time, but I think he hopes it continues to happen - curling on Christmas Eve with the Bouchard family!  We missed the Magdanz family this year, but still had a lot of fun!

For supper on Christmas Eve - Christmas Tree meatloaf - this is a great tradition!

Christmas morning!!!

After Papa read from the bible we had gift time - this year we decided to just do stockings...best stockings ever!!!

a very special gift that Sully received was made with love by his Gramps...

love his facial expressions - as if he had been waiting his entire little life for this

he was thrilled!!!

Christmas dinner started with Christmas crackers!

Auntie Jan & Uncle Gord made the trek from Saskatoon to spend part of Christmas with us - we are so glad they did - they are a very special couple to us and it was so great to see them!

After Christmas supper it was snowing in a lovely way so off we went for a Christmas evening walk as a family.

the 7 of us!

We were so blessed to be all together at Christmas - what a wonderful time we had in Lloydminster celebrating the birth of our Savior with family!
