Our kitchen is finally complete!!! And we love it! This was our first major reno of a kitchen and we are 98% happy with all the decisions and work we did - of course we learned a lot along the way and will change a few things for next time - but overall we are quite pleased with our new space!
Here are some before (pics were taken during our first open house visit) and after pics for you to see our handy work...

Our completed to do list...
- remove old light fixtures x 2 and replace
- paint ceiling
-paint walls
-remove cross piece across window
- install new baseboards and casings
- install new cupboard doors
- install new hardware
-paint existing cupboard boxes
- add new moulding to cupboards
- install new microwave and range hood
- build and install new cupboard to replace old microwave cupboard
- extend island by adding one more set of drawers & cut wall down
- install new butcher block countertop
- install new sink and faucet
- install tile backsplash

a lot of blood and sweat (ok mostly sweat, but a little bit of blood) went into this room - I learned so much and was so very impressed with the skills my husband has - he can do anything!!!
