We spent last weekend in the Okanagan with great friends! Matt an I briefly lived in Kelowna/Westbank and since then have loved the interior and always enjoy coming back to visit!
Love when the highway comes around the bend and this is what you see...
Matt took Friday off so we were able to head up early - we made our way into Kelowna to check out our old stompin grounds - it was so hot out so we took a little stroll in the park!
That afternoon we ventured to Peachland to find our place for the night and wait for the Wall's to arrive - just had to post this picture - you can see Sully's bottom two teeth so well - and as of this past weekend another tooth has poked through!

Saturday afternoon we took a stroll down the boardwalk of Peachland - this picture is of taken in front of the restaurant that Matt and I ate at the night we were engaged:)
It was a beautiful afternoon - we made time for a little photoshoot!

Next stop was Mission Hill Winery
Matt & Ev did a little wine tasting while Tony and I walked with the babies
cool skies - the weather changes so fast in the Okanagan
back to our suite - which didn't have a bathtub so we improvised

then we headed down to the farmers market on the lake
where there was a fun playground conveniently located in the center of the farmers market
Matt got a meat pie - reminded him of his days traveling New Zealand
and of course - sunshine and water means ice cream must be consumed
one last playtime in the sun before the trip home
we think Sully loved the interior as much as we did!
we made a brief pit-stop on the way home so Matt could get one last fish in - there are so so many beautiful spots in BC
it's always fun to play in the sun!
Great weekend away with great friends!!! Can't wait to do it again!
