Christmas in Saskatoon

Matt's parents recently moved to Saskatoon so we were off to SK for Christmas!

First flight...

On our second flight we encountered fog so our one hour flight turned into three and we ended up in Calgary where we had taken off.

pizza picnic on the floor of our hotel

and breakfast in bed the next morning - the kids thought it was the greatest!

and boarding the flight...again!

the kids did awesome during all the traveling, but they were tired!

We were happy to have finally made it to Saskatoon.  We started off our week at a local kids museum.

It was a great place and the kids had an AWESOME time!

This was the craziest thing - it was like a giant crocheted womb that you could crawl up inside of and climb around and then had different entrances and exits to it - very cool!  The boys spent a good chunk of time in it!

Evy enjoyed the outside "tubes"

We were also blessed to get to see extended family while we were in SK - including Great Papa & Shan!

the kids were VERY impressed with Shan's sewing skills!

We were able to spend some time outside in the snow - one day we were able to go sledding with cousins.

walking by the river - it was beautiful!

the kids always enjoy hanging out with Molly

Grams borrowed some real RCMP gear from a friend of hers - they boys were pumped!

We had a great Christmas break - it was awesome to be with family, fun to explore a new (to us) city and as always were fed like royalty (such a treat)!
