Christmas in Lloydminster

We spent Christmas in Lloydminster this year - always so fun to be with family and have a white Christmas!  Here we are on the 19th - all packed up and ready to fly!

Sully enjoyed shoveling the snow with Gramps!

Branson and George bonded - both weirdly liked each other

one day while we were in Lloydminster we went out to a friends farm for a real prairie experience - we rode in a two horse open sleigh...

played hockey on outdoor ice...

pet some horses...

went sledding...

and Sully even rode his first horse!

and Branson - must have some prairie in his blood - here he is napping in -17 Celsius!

love those blue eyes!

one morning I snuck away for coffee with this pretty lady!

Great Papa came to celebrate Christmas with us - we were so glad he did!

Great Papa has the BEST reading voices!

Mom taught her boys the art of making lefse!

again...bonding with George!

one afternoon we went for a little walk around BudMiller - I love that place and the day we visited was cold but SO BEAUTIFUL!

my beautiful sis-in-law and the beautiful hoarfrost!

Matt's cousin made the boys these toques for Christmas - I wanted big pom moms and she did not disappoint - they look SO CUTE!

Sully LOVED being outside and in the snow and then after we would play outside (the entire time not complaining) we would get in the car and he would tell us about how cold he was!
