This past weekend we were tourist in our own backyard. Our first stop was a berry farm that is about 15 min from our house - strawberry season has just began out here and we took FULL advantage of the u-pick!
There were tons of beautifully plump berries to pick from. Before we left we headed over to their bakery for a piece of strawberry custard pie and a warm strawberry shortcake - mmm mmm good!
Next, we headed to Fort Langley - stopped at the 50's dinner for lunch and then headed on to the Fort.
Fort Langley has preserved it's Fort dating back to the early 1900 I believe. We toured around the site which use to be a trading post for the Hudson's Bay Company - we got our fill of BC history for the day!
