1960's Murder Mystery Night

Last weekend we got together with our small group to do a Murder Mystery Night!  It was SO FUN!  Everyone got their character description a couple weeks before so we could be familiar with our character and find an appropriate costume for the event.

The ladies (most of us were secretaires, with a few wives thrown in, a hotel maid & a business woman)

The men (mostly salesmen, a bartender & a hotel elevator man) - notice Matt shaved his beard - he was full on in character.  Turns out business men in the 1960's were clean shaven!

Listening to the rules and how the night would go.  It was very cool.  We listened to a little clip online that explained the setting and what we were all doing together.  At the end of the night, after we had all picked who we thought the murderer was, we listened to another clip and it revealed the truth.

Introducing our characters to everyone

The we were set free - to mingle - interogate and EAT!

We also smoked a LOT of Popeyes - we were all VERY into character!

Martha & Kenneth forever :)
Neither of us guessed right on the murderer - we won't quit our day jobs - but once the culprit was revealed it seemed so obvious!  It was a very fun night!
