We spent a great weekend away with the our friends the Wiens! We rented a wonderful suite complete with a private beach, dock, fire pit, hot tub, patio - it was glorious! We had a wonderful time relaxing together!
On the way to the interior we stopped for lunch at a park in Merrit - they had these giant tires to play in - Sully had a great time!
We spent a lot of time sunbathing...
playing in the sand...
fishing...
eating...
playing latter ball...
horseshoes...
roasting marshmallows...
fellowshipping...
and we even did a little swimming (although it was pretty chilly this early in the summer season!)
The weather was glorious and the place we rented far exceeded our expectations - what a treat! It was an awesome time spent with our good friends! It was fun to be away with them and have uninterrupted time - we so enjoy them!

we stayed one extra night after the Wiens had left - Matt and I enjoyed a little date night on the dock after the kids had gone to bed (with our trusty baby monitor in tow)
What a great time away - summer has officially stared in our house!
