Sully had an unfortunate fall down 5 concrete stairs at his babysitters a few weeks ago - it resulted in his first visit to the Emergency Room. His cut wasn't all that long just very deep.
Sully quite enjoyed himself in the ER - he played with all the toys and got so much special attention from everyone :) I popped down from the NICU to be with the boys during their time in emerg.
Here is the before and after shot of his head - they didn't stitch his head shut as it would have been more traumatic than it needed to be - instead the Dr. used steri strips and a ton of tissue glue!
Leaving the hospital to go share an ice cream with his dad! Matt was dad of the year during this entire event - he picked him up from the sitters, brought him to emergency, and then stayed with him the rest of the day! I am blessed to have such an awesome father to my children - I stayed at work and didn't have to worry about anything - I knew Matt had everything under control!
Healing nicely a few days later...
