We spent an extra long weekend last week with this fun crew...

at this BEAUTIFUL location!!!

it was serene

a little slice of paradise!

we took the kids out fishing one evening after supper

I even tried my hand at the old rod

AND...look closely - I GOT one - unfortunelty it got away on me...I panicked a bit :)

but it was exciting!

Russ (the beginner fisherman) caught the big catch of the weekend!

precious family time was had by all!

on our way home we stopped and took a brief hike to two different waterfalls - there are so many hidden gems in BC - so much beauty to be experienced!

We had such a great time with these wonderful people - we are so thankful for these friendships - it's fun to watch our families grow up together!  Thanks Tony & Ev for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!!!
