Morgan Family Christmas

We were blessed to get to have one week each at both of our parents places over Christmas!

Didsbury, AB was our first stop to spend Christmas with the Morgan clan.

This trip marked Sully's first plane ride in the outside world (he had been on more than a dozen plane rides in utero!)

Sully was excited to celebrate his first Christmas surrounded by family!

We were well fed - Nathan making dessert

Sully - always enjoys a good meal ;)

Mom - cooking away - she spoils us rotten when we come home and we all so appreciate it!

Sully got a good amount of loving!

Games were played and puzzles were made!

We played outside (ok not really - it was too cold!)

We did a little shopping - Sully has his own store at Cross Iron Mills!

one VERY big Christmas tree!

Here are a few pics from Christmas Eve...

Matchy Smatchy!

On our way out to the Christmas Eve service

Sully helping his Grandpa read the Christmas story

Sully's new vintage Mickey shirt from his Uncle - each of us kids had the exact same shirt when we were little!

Sully's Christmas gifts were a hit!

The kids gift to dad - the best gift of the year :)

A new star for the nativity scene that has been in our family for many, many years! (lovingly made by my father-in-law)

Our yearly picture in front of the scene - Grandpa would be proud - not only have we added the star - a great addition to the display, but we have added another member of the family - little Sully!

The nativity all lit up!

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.  And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
- Isaiah 9:6

So thankful for that child that was born so many years ago!  Am also so thankful for a child that was born to us just last month - what fun to become a mom so close to Christmas - gives a entire new perspective on the story of Jesus' birth.  I am SO thankful for Jesus' birth and so thankful that in light of His birth that my son can be saved!
