On Thursday night the Watoto Restore Tour came through Langley as a part of their world tour. The Restore Tour is raising awareness and funds for projects specific to Gulu, Northern Uganda - a place where the LRA has done so much damage. This evening displayed the glory of God in so many ways. These kids have both experienced and watched horrific events and yet they have chosen to forgive for they know that they serve a God who is GREAT! It was a powerful night - there was not a dry eye in the place!
This evening also made us miss Uganda!!! Five of Matt's volleyball players were on the traveling team - they were so happy to see him and he was equally as happy to see them! Uncle Jesse was also traveling with the team - he was a good friend of ours while we were in Uganda!
