Home!

On Friday morning we packed up and headed home with our new little man!  He will wear mostly hand me downs but we had to get him his own "coming home" outfit that we had picked out as a family a few days before we went into the hospital.

We were so blessed by our experience at our local hospital - we were treated like royalty, but we were also very excited to get home!

Branson's First Bath

We waited to give Branson his first bath until when Sully came to visit - here of some pictures...

Big Brother

Sully has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the "baby!"  Matt's mom graciously dropped everything to come out and be with Sully while we were in the hospital.  It was so fun to introduce Sully to Branson - he was so gentle with him - full of hugs, kisses, cuddles and head rubbing :)

Matt's mom brought out a new book for Sully called "I'm a Big Brother" - it was perfect - we read it to Branson

We are VERY pleased to announce the arrival of Mr. Branson Morgan Kaminski!  He was born at 4:29am on January 22 after a very fast and furious labor.  He was born weighing 7lbs 15 oz, 20 inches in length and he was three weeks early :) 

I knew I was going to be induced about a week before as my liver started doing weird things again.  So on Wednesday morning we headed into the hospital to be induced.

Here is a comparison picture of me on the day both boys were born at 37 weeks pregnant (Sully on the left, Branson on the right)

The induction went well and just like last time when my body decided to kick in things went VERY quickly - for which I am thankful :)

Here is Branson - fresh and new - and his tired looking parents (let's all remember it was 4:30 in the morning).

Here we are a few hours later - feeling very blessed at the arrival of our newest addition!

Sunday Stroll

We had a brief break in the rain this morning after church so we decided to take a little Sunday stroll.

Let's Go On a Date - January!

For Christmas this past year Matt and I gave each other a year worth of dates.  We each planned six months worth of dates (some are at home, some out, some expensive, some free) - they are preplanned and prepaid for.  At the beginning of each month we open a little card explaining the date and plan when it will happen that month.
