It's Friday, but Sunday's Coming!

Good Friday was a beautiful day! We were able to hike/rock hop cascade falls during the day and then in the evening we attended a Good Friday service. It ended up being a sunny day - a perfect day for a hike!

Seattle!

This past weekend we took Dan on a little road-trip to Seattle.

there was also a Sci-Fi portion of the EMP building - they had a Battle Star Galatica exhibit...didn't do a lot for me, but to some it was a big deal - give me a Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman exhibit and I would go crazy!!!

There was a lot of walking, eating and outlet shopping in there too - just didn't take any pictures of those events, but know that they were enjoyable!

Spring Time!

I love spring time on the west coast! Normally it comes early and is BEAUTIFUL! This year has proven to be a slow, cold and rainy spring, but we have seen flowers and trees trying to bloom through all of the bad weather and on sunny afternoons it is gorgeous! The cherry blossoms are out in full force, they seem to be more white than pink this year - I don't know if that has something to do with the weather? Still waiting on the magnolia trees to fully bloom - they are my favorite! Here are some pictures taken from across the street from where we live.

Yesterday was Matt's last day of classes - whoop whoop!

It was also a crazy weather day out here in Abbotsford! I worked night shift and found our jeep under a heap of wet heavy snow when I came off shift in the morning. Crazy to see, as on my way to work the evening before, I was marveling at the beauty of all the trees pretty blossoming flowers. Thankfully the snow didn't last long and we are back to sunshine today:)

NICU girls gone wild!

We had a double bridal shower this past week for two girls from work.

Always a good time when NICU ladies get together outside of work to celebrate.

I work with a great group of ladies!

We also got to meet Callie - the newest baby born to our staff - she is sooo cute!

Elissa waited a long time (she has three boys) to get to dress a baby in girly things - we are so excited for her!

Dano had a birthday!

Last Wednesday was Dan's 23rd Birthday. He got the best present he could have asked for, a surprise visit from Hailey - he was SO SURPRISED - it was very fun to watch!

Dan requested a raspberry triffle for his birthday - I had never made one, but...

it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself:)

C & E come to ABBY!

Last week Correna (baby P #2) and Ezra came out to Abbotsford for a quick visit! We had a great time with them!

Ezra helped me bake some cookies - he ended up doing a lot of eating and less baking, but he was a great mixer!
