Oregon meets BC!
Rebecca came to visit last week. We did some shopping,
drank some Timmy's,
did some sight seeing,
and then did some more shopping!
It was so great to have her here for the week!!!
A Day of Fun!
We started our day off with brunch and then our first stop was IKEA. We then made our way to Granville Island. What a great place - lovely markets with fresh foods and flowers.
After Granville Island we made our way to English Bay for Vancouvers famous Celebration of Lights - an annual fireworks competition - it was a great show with 150,000 of our closet friends!
Here we are waiting for hours to make sure we had good seats for the show.
Bellingham
We dropped Becca off at the bus depot in Bellingham on Sunday and so we decided to take the day as tourists! We toured downtown Bellingham, did some antiquing, and stopped to look at all the cute little shops! We ended our day at the movies - Matt has been waiting to see the newest Batman movie - we love weekends around here!

Crafty Husband
We wanted to frame a picture for the coveted spot of above the fireplace in the apartment - we went to price out the cost of having this done and it was WAY TO MUCH! So Matt did a little research, bought a cheap picture from and some thick paper and bingo bango we have a custom matted, beautiful picture!

Nursing Reunion
We had a little nursing reunion before Denise moves across the country. Oh the memories I have with these girls and you should hear the stories when four nurses get together:)
We love the waterfall - so we went back with friends!
This waterfall waters were lower this time so we all took turns at the natural rock slide - it was fun but the water was FREEZING!
Below is the rock that we threw ourselves off of.
The water was so clean and clear.

Beautiful BC
We have been enjoying the beauty of a summer in the lower mainland. We hiked a waterfall last weekend - below is us at Cascade Waterfall.
Here is Matt showing off Abbotsford's view of Mount Baker - it's a lovely site, often missed in the rainy months out here.

Visit From Home
We had a couple of visitors last weekend...
so we decided to take them to the island
so we could smell some pretty flowers
at the famous Bouchart gardens.
Also, well on the island we had a whale spotting!!
Thanks mom and dad for coming to visit - come again soon!
Honeymoon
Honeymoon's are pretty much the best idea - whoever invented them was a guinness! We think we will take one yearly:)
We did a lot of relaxing while we were in Florida but we also had to see some of the sights of the area.
We checked out a Medieval feast - complete with knights and jousting!
Visited Shamu and friends at SeaWorld.
JUMPED....at Coco Beach
And course we went to visit Minnie and Mickey at the Magic Kingdom!
